Trillium Brewing Company is looking for an enthusiastic Human Resources Generalist to join our growing team!  Teamwork, integrity, and a passion for producing high quality beer is what drives our company’s success. We are seeking an experienced, motivated and well organized professional whose dedication and initiative will help propel the company to achieve its most important goals.

This position will be responsible for maintaining and implementing a variety of human resource programs from benefits administration to hiring and recruiting.  The ideal candidate has a solid foundation of HR best practices and is looking to augment their experience and proficiency through exposure to many facets of HR topics.  Based in Canton, MA, this full-time exempt position will report directly to the CFO. Primary responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:

  • Administer compensation and benefits plans
  • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment process
  • Build networks, talent pools, and participate in events to support our hiring and diversity initiatives
  • Fulfill other important parts of the recruiting process such as: system audits and reports, candidate assessments, salary benchmarking, reference checks, offer letters and negotiations, etc.
  • Conduct employee on-boarding and help plan training & development
  • Provide support to employees in various HR related topics such as leaves, compensation, etc. and proactively resolve issues and problems
  • Update job requirements and job descriptions along with organizational change and growth
  • Maintain historical human resource records by designing a digital filing and retrieval system; keep past and current electronic and paper records
  • With support of legal counsel, comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislations; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on need actions
  • Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures
  • Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential
  • Promote HR programs and company values to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing tasks and related results as needed



  • Bachelors in Business Administration, or related field
  • Proven 3-5 years’ experience as HR Generalist
  • SHRM-CP preferred
  • Good knowledge of MA employment/labor laws
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Ability to multi-task, set and refocus priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented, meticulously organized and strives for a high degree of accuracy
  • Impeccable ethics and high degree of personal initiative
  • Innate desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach to success
  • A deep passion for craft beer is a plus
