FORT POINT FAQ
Our brewery is located at 369 Congress Street, Boston MA 02210 in the growing, busting Fort Point Channel neighborhood of South Boston. We are located on the 1st floor of an 8 story concrete building and the main entrance is tucked away in a tight alley between 369 and 381 Congress Street. Everyday, a sign will be clearly visible on the a sidewalk to help guide you. In addition, we've provided the following tips to make your visit as seamless and stress-free as possible regardless of your chosen mode of transportation.
The closest T stop is South Station, a leisurely 7 minute walk to the brewery. Additionally, there are a bunch of bus lines that operate throughout the area (including some that drop/pick up right at the corner of Congress and A Street). Biking is easily one of the best ways to get around town quickly, particularly when the roads are snarled with cars. We aren't able to install any bike racks, but you can leave your bike in very good view through the storefront window and can easily keep an eye on your wheels from inside the retail space. Also, as it turns out, two growlers (wrapped in some T shirts for padding/stability) fit conveniently in a Hubway bike’s front rack. The closest Hubway station is located near Dunkin Donuts at 330 Congress Street.
Driving to, from, and within Boston can be challenging, but there are times when it's actually very easy to make the commute to our Fort Point location. We’re located very close to ramps for 93N, 93S and Mass Pike; GPS directions are generally accurate. We don’t offer any parking spots dedicated to the brewery, but there are a ton of nearby parking garages and affordable metered spots available- bring your quarters! Meter spots are easiest to find between 3:30-5PM during the week, as people are usually leaving work for the night. Early afternoon on Saturday is actually the easiest time to find a metered parking spot. Please be aware that metered spots on adjacent Summer Street turn to resident parking only after 6PM, you’ll get ticketed pretty quickly! GROWLERS OR BOTTLES or cans (OR all three)?
We offer a variety of options for enjoying our beer at home, depending on the style: 32oz and 64oz growlers, 16oz cans, and 750ml bottles.
If you’re taking home cans or bottles only, you can follow the line to the left on the window side of the Retail shop. If you need bags or boxes for packaging we have branded reusable 4-bottle bags available for $3, 6-bottle bags available for $4, paper bags to hold just a few bottles or cans, and cardboard boxes for cases.
If you are interested in purchasing a growler, glass costs $5 (plus tax) for either size 32 or 64 oz. This glass is yours to keep for eternity and refill as frequently as you’d like. Prices for filling your growler vary based on size and what kind of beer. We have recently updated our growler policy to include non-branded glass. Please read more here about the specifics of what we'll fill that isn't Trillium glass.
If you’re refilling growlers or buying growlers for the first time, stick to the line on the right side of the bar near the stairs.
HOW TO DECIDE?
We wish we could see you enjoy your first sip of Trillium but we can’t offer samples at the brewery. Our awesome team is incredibly knowledgeable and very experienced at describing flavor profiles, recipe variations, and making recommendations based on your tastes and comparable styles. Please ask questions and let us know what you like!
WHAT BEERS DO YOU HAVE?
Cans, bottle and growler lists are updated on the chalkboards at the brewery. The large chalkboard on the wall over the taps shows beers available for growler fills and what’s on deck. The small chalkboards to the right and left of the bar show our bottle list. All chalkboards show pricing, format, and quantity limits (if applicable).
To view the menu before you visit, our beers page is updated daily with beers available for growlers and bottles. If you don’t already, please follow us on social media for the most recent updates: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram. We frequently post what’s on tap, freshly bottled, or newly available and push out a link to our website with the list of available beers (Twitter & Facebook).
We also post on social media when specific beers are running low. With such small batch rotating selections it’s possible the beer you want will be sold out before you visit. We do our best to give you a heads up.
CAN I SWAP MY TRILLIUM GROWLER FOR A DIFFERENT SIZE?
Sure thing! You can swap a clean, ‘like new’ condition 32oz for 64oz or vice versa. The swap is one growler for one growler though, we won’t give you two 32oz growlers if you trade in a 64oz.
CAN I HAVE A GROWLER FROM ANOTHER BREWERY (OR BLANK ONE) FILLED?
We have recently updated our growler policy to include non-branded glass. Please read more here about the specifics of what we'll fill that isn't Trillium glass.
I’M ON MY WAY IN BUT FORGOT TO CLEAN MY GROWLER, CAN I EXCHANGE IT?
We’ll give that growler a quick clean in the back of the house. But, if we’re busy, this might take a little while…we don’t want you or others to have to wait so please remember to do your best to make sure its clean when you arrive.
I HAVE A LARGE GROUP COMING IN AND WOULD LIKE TO SET SOMETHING UP, WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS?

LINES ARE TERRIBLE. DO YOU HAVE ANY TIMES THAT ARE SLOWER THAN
Yes, we are open 7 days a week, and our shop tends to be less busy on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and toward the end of Thursday. Our peak times tend to be Friday afternoon and Saturday afternoon or when we have a highly anticipated beer release.
DO YOU OFFER TOURS?
We are unable to offer tours at this time. We have a very tight production schedule and limited space and staff. However, we’re very happy to talk to about how we got started and how we operate, what the latest brews have been and what we’ve got planned in the future. Just ask on your next visit!
HOW CAN I GET SOME cans or BOTTLES?
Cans and bottles are for sale at our retail shop. Please check for updates here and social media to see if we have any bottles available for sale.
WILL YOU SELL ME A KEG?
Sorry, we do not sell kegs to the public at this time.
ARE YOU KID AND DOG FRIENDLY?
Yep! We recommend hitting up the nearby Children’s Museum or Boston Fire Museum down the street before or after your trip.
Dogs are allowed but please keep them on a leash as not everyone is a dog person.
