About our Canton location
Our second home in Canton, MA is a 16,000 square foot brewery, retail space, and Taproom located at 110 Shawmut Road. Trillium’s new location serves as our primary production facility with a total theoretical capacity for 35,000bbl brewed annually. This increased volume allows us to more consistently meet our growing demand and offer a wider variety of beers available throughout the year. We employ a 30bbl DME 3-vessel high output brewhouse with 90bbl conical fermenters and brite tanks.
You can look out from our two tasting rooms to the entire production floor and experience the sights, sounds, and smells of brewing, or look up at the oak cooperage in our greatly expanded wild beer program visible on our 5,000 sq. foot barrel mezzanine.
CANTON GENERAL FAQ
At our Canton facility, we offer free parking located in the main lot at the front of the building. We share this lot with 3 other businesses so we need to be respectful of their space and access. In the event that our allotment of parking is full, Trillium team members will direct you to designated, over-flow parking lot, just up the road at 50 Hudson. In accordance with town rules, street parking is prohibited and we kindly ask that no one park in neighboring lots (we don’t want anyone to get towed!).
GROWLERS OR BOTTLES Or CAns (OR all three)?
We offer a variety of options, depending on style, for taking our beer home: growlers in 64 oz. and 32 oz. sizes, 16oz cans and 750ml bottles. . If you need bags or boxes for packaging we have branded reusable 4-bottle bags available for $3, 6-bottle bags available for $4, paper bags to hold just a few bottles or cans, or cardboard boxes for cases.
WHAT BEERS DO YOU HAVE?
Cans, bottles and growlers available for purchase to-go are listed on signs posted in our retail outlet while draft styles available for enjoyment on-site are listed on signs in our Taproom. All associated pricing, format, and quantity limits (if applicable) are clearly displayed.
To view the menu's before you visit, our Canton beers page is updated daily with beers available for growlers and bottles along with a separate section for the Taproom draft list. If you don’t already, please follow us on social media for the most recent updates: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram. We frequently post what’s on tap, freshly bottled, or newly available and push out a link to our website with the list of available beers (Twitter & Facebook).
We try our best to post on social media when specific beers are running low.
CAN I SWAP MY TRILLIUM GROWLER FOR A DIFFERENT SIZE?
Sure thing! You can swap a clean, ‘like new’ condition 32oz for 64oz or vice versa.
CAN I HAVE A GROWLER FROM ANOTHER BREWERY (OR BLANK ONE) FILLED?
Unfortunately, no. Per Massachusetts ABCC guidance, we are unable to fill growlers that do not carry indelible Trillium branding and other requisite information.
I’M ON MY WAY IN BUT FORGOT TO CLEAN MY GROWLER, CAN I EXCHANGE IT?
We’ll give that growler a quick clean in the back of the house. But, if we’re busy, this might take a little while…we don’t want you or others to have to wait so please remember to do your best to make sure it’s clean when you arrive.
I HAVE A LARGE GROUP COMING IN AND WOULD LIKE TO SET SOMETHING UP, WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS?
We recommend giving us a heads up via e-mail. You can also contact us to ask about booking private events by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
LINES ARE TERRIBLE. DO YOU HAVE ANY TIMES THAT ARE SLOWER THAN OTHERS?
Yes, we are open 6 days a week, and our shop tends to be less busy on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and toward the end of Thursday. Our peak times tend to be Friday afternoon and Saturday afternoon or when we have a highly anticipated beer release.
DO YOU OFFER TOURS?
We are unable to offer tours at this time. However, our Canton space is designed with an open-air architectural concept which allows you to view most areas of the brewery, including the production floor, from each of the tasting room areas. Our team is always on hand to discuss how we got started and how we operate, what the latest brews have been and what we’ve got planned in the future. Just ask on your next visit!
HOW CAN I GET SOME cans or BOTTLES?
Cans and bottles are for sale at our retail shop. Please check for daily updates here and social media to see which bottles are available for sale.
WILL YOU SELL ME A KEG?
Sorry, we do not sell kegs to the public at this time.
ARE YOU KID AND DOG FRIENDLY?
Yep! Dogs are allowed, but please keep them on a leash as not everyone is a dog person.

CANTON TAPROOM FAQ
WHERE IS THE TAPROOM LOCATED?
Our Taproom is located in the same facility as our retail outlet and production brewery.

WHAT ARE THE TAPROOM HOURS?
Hours of operation are Monday-Saturday from 11AM to 7:30PM with last call given at 7PM.
WHAT ARE THE FORMATS & LIMITS FOR POURS?
A diverse selection of styles are available for purchase in 5oz. and 10oz. pour volumes.
CAN I START A TAB?
Yes! We invite you to open a tab in our Taproom, which can be updated throughout your visit to include draft pours and as well as items available for purchase in our retail outlet. We do require that tabs opened in the Taproom be closed in our retail outlet when items such as bottles, growlers, and merchandise are ordered.
CAN I PURCHASE BOTTLES, GROWLERS, & MERCHANDISE IN THE TAPROOM?
For organizational purposes and ease of ordering, the Taproom and retail outlets are positioned separately within our larger shared space. These outlets are clearly designated with directional signs located at the front entrance. If you would like to purchase draft beers for on-site consumption, follow the signs for the Taproom which is located to the right when you pass through our main entrance. If you would like to purchase bottles, growlers, and/or merchandise follow signs down the large hallway to your left. You are more than welcome to enjoy draft pours ordered in the Taproom anywhere on-site; we have barrel-tables and bar rails set up throughout our space.
IF I PURCHASE BOTTLES OR GROWLERS, CAN I DRINK THEM IN THE TAPROOM?
Unfortunately, no. All bottle/cans, and growler sales are for enjoyment off-site. Thank you for understanding!
DO YOU STILL OFFER COMPLIMENTARY SAMPLES?
Although we will no longer offer free 2 oz. samples, our knowledgeable staff is on hand to guide your tasting experience with flavor descriptors and answers to any Trillium related questions. We understand that with multiple draft options that sometimes decisions can be tough and we’re always willing to provide a small taste to help with ordering.
HOW DO I KNOW WHAT’S ON TAP?
The draft list of beers available for purchase can be found on the large display menu in the Taproom and on our website under the Canton location section on the main page. As with our growler-fill menu, the online list will be updated daily before open, but is subject to change. We always recommend following us on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook for the most up-to-the-minute information.
DO YOU HAVE A RESTAURANT OR SERVE FOOD?
We do not operate a restaurant or serve food in the Taproom, but keep an eye on our website and social media accounts for updates regarding special weekend Food Truck hours.
ARE VISITORS UNDER 21 ALLOWED IN?
The Taproom is a family friendly environment and operates in a shared space with our retail outlet down the hall. While younger visitors are allowed in, anyone wishing to purchase beer in either our retail outlet or Taproom must be 21 years of age with valid ID.
