Stout with Peanut Butter
Permutation is our experimental series of small batch offerings, showcasing the unique visions and innovative concepts developed by our brewing and cellar crew. We name these beers in sequence - their numbering first indicates the year in the Trillium lifespan that the beer was released, followed by a recipe indicator. Learn more about our Permutation series by checking out our overview and our refresh. Our Dessert Series of Imperial Stouts is designed to encapsulate some of our favorite after-dinner treats. Decadent and rich, these beers are brewed on the higher end of the ABV spectrum to match up to the intensely luscious flavors and aromas that they display. With our latest Permutation offering, we set out to brew something that satisfies the same cravings, while also offering the opportunity to be enjoyed on a more regular basis.
Brewed in Fort Point, Permutation 6.41 is an 8.0% ABV Stout with a hefty peanut butter addition. Presenting deep hickory with a fluffy caramel-colored head, aromas of peanut butter-filled chocolates and dark roast coffee greet the palate immediately. Mildly sweet, with a full-bodied mouthfeel, we're eager to explore the realm possible with lower ABV dessert-inspired stouts.
