Stout with Coconut
Permutation is our experimental series of small batch offerings, showcasing the unique visions and innovative concepts developed by our production crew. The names are sequential, reflecting the brewing year in Trillium's lifespan, followed by a recipe indicator.
Coconut's vibrant tropical and slightly sweet character pairs incredibly well with the blend of rich and roasty dark malts that we often weave into our stout recipes. Pouring a deep black with dark brown highlights, Permutation 6.52 immediately offers rich baked good aromas that range from fudgy chocolate and molasses to coconut macaroons and cake frosting. A blend of dark fruit and mixed nuts make an appearance towards the back of the palate. Medium-bodied and impressively drinkable, Permutation 6.52 toes the line between rich and lively.
