Permutation is our experimental series of small batch offerings, showcasing the unique visions and innovative concepts developed by our brewing and cellar crew. We name these beers in sequence - their numbering first indicates the year in the Trillium lifespan that the beer was released, followed by a recipe indicator. Brewed at our Fort Point location, Permutation 6.07 is our take on a Corn Lager. Using corn locally grown at Four Star Farms and processed at Plimoth Grist Mill, this lager is deeply rooted in the agricultural heritage and bounty of New England. Pouring a pale yellow straw color with a fluffy white head and the slightest level of haze, Permutation 6.07 has a clean lagering fermentation profile offering pleasant aromas of freshly baked cornbread muffins with gentle highlights of bright lemon peel and dried wildflowers that extended right through to the palate. Light bodied and endlessly drinkable with a delicate sweetness, touch of minerality and smooth finish, Permutation 6.07 is the type of sessionable and easy drinking lager that welcomes warmer weather and perfectly accompanies longer days spent with friends.
