Permutation is our experimental series of small batch offerings, showcasing the unique visions and innovative concepts developed by our brewing and cellar crew. We name these beers in sequence - their numbering first indicates the year in the Trillium lifespan that the beer was released, followed by a recipe indicator. Brewed at our Fort Point location, Permutation 6.19 is a pale lager of the Czech tradition utilizing floor-malted Bohemian Pilsner, Saaz hops and a classic lager yeast strain. Pouring a brilliant gold color with a dense, creamy white head, Permutation 6.19 is cleanly fermented offering deep bready aromas on the nose with elegant floral hop bouquet. The palate follows closely delivering flavors of mildly sweet biscuits and bread crusts that are balanced by an enjoyably snappy bite of earthy pepper, jasmine, and dried wildflowers. Medium bodied with soft carbonation, Permutation 6.19 has a clean, drying finish that makes this lager refreshing and endlessly quenching.
