Permutation is our experimental series of small batch offerings, showcasing the unique visions and innovative concepts developed by our brewing and cellar crew. We name these beers in sequence - their numbering first indicates the year in the Trillium lifespan that the beer was released, followed by a recipe indicator. Brewed at our Fort Point location, Permutation 6.23 is a focussed look at one of our favorite hop varieties: Australian grown Galaxy. Pouring a hazy yellow straw, mouthwatering aroma of pressed citrus, tropical fruits, and freshly clipped grass leap from the glass. On the palate, flavors of ripe pineapple slices and orange rind take the lead joining with notes melon and white peach and underpinned by a soft biscuity malt base. Medium bodied with a pillowy mouthfeel, smooth carbonation and rounded pine tip bitterness, Permutation 6.23 has a balanced finish.
