Permutation is our experimental series of small batch offerings, showcasing the unique visions and innovative concepts developed by our brewing and cellar crew. We name these beers in sequence - their numbering first indicates the year in the Trillium lifespan that the beer was released, followed by a recipe indicator. Coming from our Fort Point location, Permutation 6.27 revisits our recipe for Permutation 6.04. Brewed with luscious malted and flaked oats to create an easy drinking body and rounded mouthfeel, Permutation 6.27 is kettled with Columbus and dry hopped with Mosaic and Simcoe. Pouring a hazy yellow straw with a pillowy white head, Permutation 6.27 swirls engaging aromas of fresh citrus and tropical fruit with hints of pine. Bright flavors of ripe melon, tangerine, passion fruit take the lead on the palate with a modest, rounded bite of grapefruit pith. Medium bodied with a refreshing finish, Permutation 6.27’s sessionable ABV makes it an enjoyable choice for a few rounds.
