Permutation is our experimental series of small batch offerings, showcasing the unique visions and innovative concepts developed by our brewing and cellar crew. We name these beers in sequence - their numbering first indicates the year in the Trillium lifespan that the beer was released, followed by a recipe indicator. Brewed at our Fort Point location, Permutation 6.29 is session lager time utilizing German-grown Huell Melon hops for whirlpool and dry hop additions. Pouring a brilliant gold color with a fluffy white foam, Permutation 6.29 is cleanly fermented on the nose delivering aromas of freshly kneaded dough, soft biscuits and crackery malt underpinned by delicate floral and earthy accents. The palate follows with flavors of pie crust, lightly toasted grains, hints of bright citrus and a rounded, snappy bitterness. Light bodied with a soft carbonation, Permutation 6.29 is crisp and refreshing with a clean and balanced finish.
