Permutation is our experimental series of small batch offerings, showcasing the unique visions and innovative concepts developed by our brewing and cellar crew. We name these beers in sequence - their numbering first indicates the year in the Trillium lifespan that the beer was released, followed by a recipe indicator. Brewed at our Fort Point location, Permutation 6.34 is a lager featuring Saphir and Saaz hops for whirlpool and dry hop additions. Pouring a brilliant yellow straw color with excellent clarity and a fluffy white head, Permutation 6.34 offers a clean lager fermentation profile on the nose with highlights of biscuit dough and rustic country bread crusts underpinned by the distinctly elegant noble hop aromas. Taking a sip and pulling the beer through the creamy soft head, the palate strikes a graceful balance between bready malt and an herbaceous, floral snap from the Saphir and Saaz hops. Light bodied with a crisp and clean finish, Permutation 6.34 makes for a quenching, easy drinking mug.
