Permutation is our experimental series of small batch offerings, showcasing the unique visions and innovative concepts developed by our brewing and cellar crew.
Permutation #64 was split into "Alpha", "Bravo" and "Charlie" batches and each was fermented with a different yeast. This process is part of our ongoing focus on lagers - as we build our repertoire, we're tightening our focus to fine-tune the subtleties and details of the pilsner style. We invite you to join us on this journey by tasting all three iterations side by side.
A bold malt profile gives Alpha’s nose the clear impression of soft, freshly baked multigrain bread with a hints of wildflower honey. The classic lagering fermentation process allows for a finessed representation of the faintly sweet malt bill with overtones of nutty biscuits and whole grains on the palate. Hallertau Mittelfruh and Hallertau Magnum hops elegantly interweave subtle accents of dried dandelion, newly mown hay, and citrus zest into the malt backbone and provide a balancing bite.
MALT: Pilsner Malt, Carahell, Melanoidin, Acidulated Malt
