Permutation is our experimental series of small batch offerings, showcasing the unique visions and innovative concepts developed by our brewing and cellar crew. We name these beers in sequence - their numbering first indicates the year in the Trillium lifespan that the beer was released, followed by a recipe indicator. With Permutation 6.49, we continue to explore the interplay between tropical fruits and hop varieties that exhibit complementary aroma and flavor characteristics. Conditioned upon a generous amount of pink guava and heavily dry-hopped with Citra, this Pale Ale pours an alluring light orange with a soft haze. Permutation 6.49's bright notes of guava, orange pulp, and fresh-squeezed lemon juice excite the palate, while a balanced finish with just enough bitterness rounds out each sip.
