Permutation is our experimental series of small batch offerings, showcasing the unique visions and innovative concepts developed by our brewing and cellar crew.
For Permutation #68, we used a simple malt bill of Two Row, Flaked Oats, and Honey Malt. Additionally, we utilized Lactose or Milk Sugar to provide a silky smooth mouthfeel and a touch of sweetness. Lastly, we conditioned the beer on Madagascar Vanilla Beans and 900 pounds of freeze dried strawberries, or the equivalent of over 7200 pounds of fresh strawberries.
Permutation #68 pours an eye catching ruby-amber coloring with moderate haze. Intensely aromatic, the nose reveals strawberry sorbet, mixed berry jam, and vanilla gelato. Unabashedly sweet flavors of strawberry-rhubarb pie, crushed red berries, fruity breakfast cereal, and Italian water ice flood the palate and beckon you back for more. With a medium body and a creamy, luscious mouthfeel, Permutation #68 makes for an indulgent, enjoyable sip.
