Brewed at our Fort Point location, The Concoction Method is a Table IPA brewed in collaboration with our good friends and purveyors of session beer at Notch Brewing. For this special collaboration, our team at Fort Point developed a methodology inspired by decoction mashing to bolster the beer’s malt profile and body. Clocking in at 3.8%, The Concoction Method delivers the balanced hop forward notes of an IPA in an easy and accessible package.
The Concoction Method pours a hazy orange amber color with engaging aromas of citrus, tropical fruit and vibrant pine. The palate opens with bright flavors of pink grapefruit and orange peel adding in notes of ripe mango and pineapple cubes with a gentle yet balancing grassy bite. Light bodied with a refreshing carbonation and soft mouthfeel, The Concoction Method’s easy drinking ABV make it ideal for hot summer days spent with friends.
