The Resilience brewing project truly demonstrates the strength of our Craft Beer community. In response to the worst wildfire in California’s history, Sierra Nevada committed to brewing a beer and donating 100% of the proceeds to the Camp Fire Relief Fund. They asked every brewery in the country to do the same. Standing alongside 1,400 participating breweries worldwide, we were proud to add this recipe to our brew schedule at our Fort Point facility.
Resilience Butte County Proud IPA is a classic West Coast IPA, in line with the Sierra Nevada brews we all love. Our batch pours an orange amber hue with only a slight haze. Floral accents and aromas of fresh cut grass meld with highlights of citrus zest on the nose. The palate balances bright flavors of orange pith and ruby red grapefruit flesh against a lightly caramelized and toasted malt backbone. Medium bodied with a dry finish, Resilience offers generous bite of spicy and resinous pine.
MALT: American Two Row, Caramel
HOPS: Chinook, Centennial, Cascade
